Song of Songs 2:10-15
10“My beloved responded and said to me, ‘1Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, And come along.11For behold, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone.12The blossoms have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for 2pruning the vines, And the voice of the 3turtledove has been heard in our land.13The 4fig tree has ripened its fruit, And the 5vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance. Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, And come along!’”
14“6My dove, 7in the clefts of the 8rock, In the hiding place of the mountain pathway, Let me see 9how you look, 10Let me hear your voice; For your voice is pleasant, And 11you look 12delightful.”
15“13Catch the 14foxes for us, The 15little 16foxes that are ruining the vineyards, While our 17vineyards are in blossom.”
