Romans 8:15-26

15For you 1have not received a spirit of slavery 2leading to fear again, but you 3have received 4a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “5Abba! 6Father!” 16The Spirit Himself 7testifies with our spirit that we are 8children of God, 17and if children, 9heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, 10if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18For I consider that the sufferings of this present time 11are not worthy to be compared with the 12glory that is to be revealed to us. 19For the 13eagerly awaiting creation waits for 14the revealing of the 15sons and daughters of God. 20For the creation 16was subjected to 17futility, not willingly, but 18because of Him who subjected it, 19in hope 21that 20the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation 21groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 2322And not only that, but also we ourselves, having 23the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves 24groan within ourselves, 25waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, 26the redemption of our body. 24For 27in hope we have been saved, but 28hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25But 29if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

26Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for 30we do not know what to pray for as we should, but 31the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with 32groanings too deep for words;
