2through whom we also have 1obtained our introduction by faith into this grace 2in which we stand; and 3we celebrate in hope of the glory of God. 34And not only this, but 5we also 6celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about 7perseverance; 4and 8perseverance, 9proven character; and proven character, hope; 5and hope 10does not disappoint, because the love of God has been 11poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
