Romans 14:11-17

11For it is written: “1As I live, says the Lord, 2to Me every knee will bow, And every tongue will 3give praise to God.” 12So then 4each one of us will give an account of himself to God.

13Therefore let’s not 5judge one another anymore, but rather 6determine this: 7not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s or sister’s way. 14I know and am convinced 8in the Lord Jesus that 9nothing is 10unclean in itself; but to the one who 11thinks something is 12unclean, to that person it is 13unclean. 15For if because of food your brother or sister is hurt, you are no longer 14walking in accordance with love. 15Do not destroy with your choice of food that person for whom Christ died. 16Therefore 16do not let what is for you a good thing be 17spoken of as evil; 17for the kingdom of God 18is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and 19peace and 20joy in the Holy Spirit.
