Romans 10:4-13

4For 1Christ is the 2end of the Law for righteousness to 3everyone who believes.

5For Moses writes of the righteousness that is 4based on the Law, that the person who performs 5them 6will live by 7them. 6But 8the righteousness 9based on faith speaks as follows: “10Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will go up into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), 7or ‘Who will descend into the 11abyss?’ (that is, to 12bring Christ up from the dead).” 8But what does it say? “13The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 914that 15if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and 16believe in your heart that 17God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10for with the heart a person believes, 18resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, 19resulting in salvation. 11For the Scripture says, “20Whoever believes in Him will not be 21put to shame.” 12For 22there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is 23Lord of 24all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13for “25Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
