13So Boazבֹּ֤עַזBo.'azH1162tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947Ruthרוּת֙rutH7327,and she becameוַתְּהִי־va.te.hi-H1961his wifeלְאִשָּׁ֔הle.'i.ShahH802,and he hadH935relationsH935withH935her. Andthe Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068enabledוַיִּתֵּ֨ןvai.yi.TenH5414her to conceiveהֵרָי֖וֹןhe.ra.YonH2032,and she gaveH3205birthH3205to a sonבֵּֽן׃BenH1121.

14Then thewomenהַנָּשִׁים֙ha.na.ShimH802saidוַתֹּאמַ֤רְנָהva.to.Mar.nahH559to Naomiנָעֳמִ֔יno.'o.MiH5281, “Blessedבָּר֣וּךְba.RukhH1288is the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068whoאֲ֠שֶׁר'a.SherH834has not leftH7673you withoutH7673a redeemerגֹּאֵ֖לgo.'ElH1350todayהַיּ֑וֹםhai.YomH3117,and may his nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034becomeH7121famousH7121in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃be.Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

15May he also be to you one who restoresלְמֵשִׁ֣יבle.me.ShivH7725lifeנֶ֔פֶשׁNe.feshH5315and sustainsוּלְכַלְכֵּ֖לu.le.khal.KelH3557your oldשֵׂיבָתֵ֑ךְsei.va.TekhH7872ageH7872;for your daughter-in-lawכַלָּתֵ֤ךְkha.la.TekhH3618,whoH834lovesאֲהֵבַ֙תֶךְ֙'a.he.Va.tekhH157youand is betterט֣וֹבָהToahH2896to you thanH4480sevenמִשִּׁבְעָ֖הmi.shiv.'AhH7651sonsבָּנִֽים׃ba.NimH1121,has givenH3205birthיְלָדַ֔תּוּye.la.Da.tuH3205to him.”

16Then Naomiנָעֳמִ֤יno.'o.MiH5281tookוַתִּקַּ֨חva.ti.KachH3947the childהַיֶּ֙לֶד֙hai.Ye.ledH3206andlaidוַתְּשִׁתֵ֣הוּva.te.shi.Te.huH7896him in her lapבְחֵיקָ֔הּve.chei.KahH2436,and becameוַתְּהִי־va.te.hi-H1961his nurseלְאֹמֶֽנֶת׃le.'o.Me.netH539.

17And the neighborהַשְּׁכֵנ֥וֹתha.she.khe.NotH7934womenH7934gaveוַתִּקְרֶאנָה֩va.tik.re.NahH7121him a nameשֵׁם֙shemH8034,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “A sonבֵּ֖ןbenH1121has been bornיֻלַּד־yu.lad-H3205to Naomiלְנָעֳמִ֑יle.no.'o.MiH5281!”So they namedוַתִּקְרֶ֤אנָֽה שְׁמוֹ֙va.tik.Re.nah she.MoH7121 H8034him Obedעוֹבֵ֔דo.VedH5744.He is the fatherאֲבִי־'a.vi-H1of Jesseיִשַׁ֖יyi.ShaiH3448,the fatherאֲבִ֥י'a.ViH1of Davidדָוִֽד׃ פda.VidH1732.
