9Thehighבָּמ֣וֹתba.MotH1116placesH1116of IsaacH3327will becomeH8074desertedH8074, And thesanctuariesוּמִקְדְּשֵׁ֥יu.mik.de.SheiH4720of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478will be in ruinsיֶחֱרָ֑בוּye.che.Ra.vuH2717. Then I willriseH6965upH6965againstעַל־'al-H5921the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֖םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379with the swordבֶּחָֽרֶב׃ פbe.Cha.revH2719.”

10Then Amaziahאֲמַצְיָה֙'a.matz.YahH558, thepriestכֹּהֵ֣ןko.HenH3548of BethelH1008,sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֗חvai.yish.LachH7971word toJeroboamיָרָבְעָ֥םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Amosעָמ֗וֹסa.MosH5986hasconspiredקָשַׁ֨רka.SharH7194againstעָלֶ֜יךָ'a.Lei.khaH5921you in the midstבְּקֶ֙רֶב֙be.Ke.revH7130of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776isH3201unableלֹא־lo'-H3808 H3201to endureלְהָכִ֖ילle.ha.KhilH3557allכָּל־kol-H3605his wordsדְּבָרָֽיו׃de.va.RavH1697.

11For thisH3541isH3541whatH3541Amosעָמ֔וֹסa.MosH5986saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: ‘Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֑םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379will dieיָמ֣וּתya.MutH4191by the swordבַּחֶ֖רֶבba.Che.revH2719,and Israelוְיִ֨שְׂרָאֵ֔לve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478will certainlyH1540goגָּלֹ֥הga.LohH1540from its landאַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ ס'ad.ma.ToH127intoH1540exileיִגְלֶ֖הyig.LehH1540.’”

12Then Amaziahאֲמַצְיָה֙'a.matz.YahH558saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Amosעָמ֔וֹסa.MosH5986, “Goלֵ֥ךְlekhH1980,you seerחֹזֶ֕הcho.ZehH2374,fleeבְּרַח־be.rach-H1272to the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063;and eatוֶאֱכָל־ve.'e.khol-H398breadלֶ֔חֶםLe.chemH3899thereשָׁ֣םshamH8033and do your prophesyingתִּנָּבֵֽא׃ti.na.Ve'H5012thereוְשָׁ֖םve.ShamH8033!

13Butdo not prophesyלְהִנָּבֵ֑אle.hi.na.Ve'H5012at BethelH1008anyH5750longerתוֹסִ֥יףto.SifH3254 H5750, for it is asanctuaryמִקְדַּשׁ־mik.dash-H4720of the kingמֶ֙לֶךְ֙Me.lekhH4428and a royalמַמְלָכָ֖הmam.la.KhahH4467residenceוּבֵ֥יתu.VeitH1004.”

14Then Amosעָמוֹס֙'a.mOsH5986repliedוַיַּ֤עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030to Amaziahאֲמַצְיָ֔ה'a.matz.YahH558, “I am not a prophetנָבִ֣יאna.Vi'H5030,norH3808am I thesonבֶן־ven-H1121of a prophetנָבִ֖יאna.Vi'H5030;for I am a herdsmanבוֹקֵ֥רvo.KerH951and agrowerH1103ofH1103sycamoreשִׁקְמִֽים׃shik.MimH8256figsH1103.

15But the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068tookוַיִּקָּחֵ֣נִיvai.yi.ka.Che.niH3947me fromfollowingמֵאַחֲרֵ֖יme.'a.cha.ReiH310the flockהַצֹּ֑אןha.TzonH6629,and the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, ‘Goלֵ֥ךְlekhH1980prophesyהִנָּבֵ֖אhi.na.Ve'H5012to My peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.’

16So nowוְעַתָּ֖הve.'a.TahH6258hearשְׁמַ֣עshe.Ma'H8085the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:you are sayingאֹמֵ֗ר'o.MerH559, ‘Youshall not prophesyתִנָּבֵא֙ti.na.Ve'H5012againstעַל־'al-H5921Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478norH3808shall youprophesyתַטִּ֖יףta.TifH5197againstעַל־'al-H5921the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of IsaacH3327.’
