7“Furthermoreוְגַ֣םve.GamH1571, Iwithheldמָנַ֨עְתִּיma.Na'.tiH4513the rainהַגֶּ֗שֶׁםha.Ge.shemH1653from you While there werestillבְּע֨וֹדbe.'odH5750threeשְׁלֹשָׁ֤הshe.lo.ShahH7969monthsחֳדָשִׁים֙cho.da.ShimH2320until harvestלַקָּצִ֔ירla.ka.TzirH7105.Then I would sendH4305rainוְהִמְטַרְתִּי֙ve.him.tar.TiH4305on oneאֶחָ֔ת'e.ChatH259cityעִ֣יר'irH5892, But onanotherאַחַ֖ת'a.ChatH259cityעִ֥יר'irH5892I would not sendH4305rainאַמְטִ֑יר'am.TirH4305;Oneאַחַת֙'a.ChatH259partחֶלְקָ֤הchel.KahH2513would be rainedתִּמָּטֵ֔רti.ma.TerH4305on,While the partוְחֶלְקָ֛הve.chel.KahH2513not rainedתַמְטִ֥ירtam.TirH4305on would dryH3001upH3001.

8So the people oftwoשְׁתַּיִם֩she.ta.YimH8147orthreeשָׁלֹ֨שׁsha.LoshH7969citiesעָרִ֜ים'a.RimH5892would staggerוְנָע֡וּve.na.'UH5128to anotherאַחַ֛ת'a.ChatH259cityעִ֥יר'irH5892to drinkלִשְׁתּ֥וֹתlish.TotH8354waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325, But wouldnot beH7646satisfiedH7646; Yet you havenot returnedשַׁבְתֶּ֥םshav.TemH7725to Me,” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

9“Istruckהִכֵּ֣יתִיhi.Kei.tiH5221you with scorchingבַּשִּׁדָּפ֣וֹןba.shi.da.FonH7711windand mildewוּבַיֵּרָקוֹן֒u.vai.ye.ra.kOnH3420; Thecaterpillarהַגָּזָ֑םha.ga.ZamH1501was devouringיֹאכַ֣לyo.KhalH398Your manyהַרְבּ֨וֹתhar.BotH7235gardensגַּנּוֹתֵיכֶ֧םga.no.tei.KhemH1593and vineyardsוְכַרְמֵיכֶ֛םve.khar.mei.KhemH3754,figוּתְאֵנֵיכֶ֥םu.te.'e.nei.KhemH8384treesH8384and oliveוְזֵיתֵיכֶ֖םve.zei.tei.KhemH2132treesH2132; Yet you havenot returnedשַׁבְתֶּ֥םshav.TemH7725to Me,” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.
