Revelation 3:9-22

9Behold, I 1will make those of 2the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie--I will make them 3come and bow down before your feet, and make them know that 4I have loved you. 10Because you have 5kept 6My 7word of perseverance, 8I also will keep you from the hour of the 9 10testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole 11 12world, to 13test 14those who live on the earth. 11 15I am coming quickly; 16hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your 17crown. 12 18The one who overcomes, I will make him a 19pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the 20name of My God, and 21the name of the city of My God, 22the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My 23new name. 13 24The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

14“To the angel of the church in 25Laodicea write:

26The Amen, 27the faithful and true Witness, 28the 29Origin of the creation of God, says this:

15‘30I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; 31I wish that you were cold or hot. 16So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17Because you say, “32I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have no need of anything,” and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked, 18I advise you to 33buy from Me 34gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and 35white garments so that you may clothe yourself and 36the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to apply to your eyes so that you may see. 19 37Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and 38repent. 20Behold, I stand 39at the door and 40knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, 41I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21 42The one who overcomes, I will grant to him 43to sit with Me on My throne, as 44I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. 22 45The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”
