Revelation 3:9-22

9Behold, I 1will cause those of 2the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie--I will make them 3come and bow down 4at your feet, and make them know that 5I have loved you. 10Because you have 6kept the word of 7My 8perseverance, 9I also will keep you from the hour of 10 11testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole 12 13world, to 14test 15those who dwell on the earth. 11 16I am coming quickly; 17hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your 18crown. 12 19He who overcomes, I will make him a 20pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the 21name of My God, and 22the name of the city of My God, 23the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My 24new name. 13 25He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

14“To the angel of the church in 26Laodicea write:

27The Amen, 28the faithful and true Witness, 29the 30Beginning of the creation of God, says this:

15‘31I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; 32I wish that you were cold or hot. 16So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will 33spit you out of My mouth. 17Because you say, “34I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18I advise you to 35buy from Me 36gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and 37white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that 38the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19 39Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and 40repent. 20Behold, I stand 41at the door and 42knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, 43I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21 44He who overcomes, I will grant to him 45to sit down with Me on My throne, as 46I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 47He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”
