Revelation 1:14-20

14His head and His 1hair were white like white wool, like snow; and 2His eyes were like a flame of fire. 15His 3feet were like 4burnished bronze when it has been heated to a glow in a furnace, and His 5voice was like the sound of many waters. 16In His right hand He held 6seven stars, and out of His mouth came a 7sharp two-edged sword; and His 8face was like 9the sun 10shining in its strength.

17When I saw Him, I 11fell at His feet like a dead man. And He 12placed His right hand on me, saying, “13Do not be afraid; 14I am the first and the last, 18and the 15living One; and I 1617was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have 18the keys of death and of Hades. 19Therefore 19write 20the things which you have seen, 21and the things which are, and the things which will take place 22after these things. 20As for the 23mystery of the 24seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the 25seven golden lampstands: the 26seven stars are the angels of 27the seven churches, and the seven 28lampstands are the seven churches.
