Proverbs 6:20-23

20 1My son, comply with the commandment of your father, And do not ignore the 2teaching of your mother;21 3Bind them continually on your heart; Tie them around your neck.22When you 4walk, 5they will guide you; When you sleep, 6they will watch over you; And when you awake, 7they will talk to you.23For 8the commandment is a lamp and the 9teaching is light; And rebukes for discipline are the way of life
