Proverbs 2:1-8
1My son, if you will 1receive my words And 2treasure my commandments within you,23Make your ear attentive to wisdom; Incline your heart to understanding.3For if you cry out for insight, And 4raise your voice for understanding;4If you seek her as 5silver And search for her as for 6hidden treasures;5Then you will understand the 7fear of the Lord, And discover the knowledge of God.6For 8the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.7He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a 9shield to those who walk in integrity,8Guarding the paths of justice, And He 10watches over the way of His godly ones.
