Jeremiah 33:17-22
17For this is what the Lord says: ‘1David shall 2not lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel; 183and the 4Levitical priests shall not lack a man before Me to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to 5prepare sacrifices 6continually.’”
19And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, 20“This is what the Lord says: ‘If you can 7break My covenant for the day and My covenant for the night, so that day and night do not occur at their proper time, 21then 8My covenant with David My servant may also be broken, so that he will not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levitical priests, My ministers. 22As the 9heavenly 10lights cannot be counted, and the 11sand of the sea cannot be measured, so I will 12multiply the 13descendants of My servant David and the 14Levites who serve Me.’”
