Jeremiah 3:4-7
4Have you not just now called to Me, ‘1My Father, You are the 2friend of my 3youth?54Will He be angry forever, Or keep His anger to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken And have done evil things, And you have 5had your own way.”
6Then the Lord said to me in the days of King Josiah, “Have you seen what faithless Israel did? She 6went up on every high hill and under every leafy tree, and she prostituted herself there. 7Yet 7I 8thought, ‘After she has done all these things she will return to Me’; but she did not return, and her 9treacherous sister Judah saw it.
