Jeremiah 29:29-32
Now 1Zephaniah the priest read this letter 2to Jeremiah the prophet.
Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
“Send word to 3all the exiles, saying, ‘This is what the Lord says concerning 4Shemaiah the Nehelamite: “Because Shemaiah has 5prophesied to you, although I did not send him, and he has 6made you trust in a lie,”
therefore this is what the Lord says: “Behold, I am going to 7punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his 8descendants; he will 9not have anyone living among this people, 10and he will not see the good that I am going to do for My people,” declares the Lord, “because he has 11spoken falsely against the Lord.”’”
