Jeremiah 29:29-32
291Zephaniah the priest read this letter 2to Jeremiah the prophet.
30Then came the word of the Lord to Jeremiah, saying,
31“Send to 3all the exiles, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord concerning 4Shemaiah the Nehelamite, “Because Shemaiah has 5prophesied to you, although I did not send him, and he has 6made you trust in a lie,”
32therefore thus says the Lord, “Behold, I am about to 7punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his 8descendants; he will 9not have anyone living among this people, 10and he will not see the good that I am about to do to My people,” declares the Lord, “because he has 1112preached rebellion against the Lord.”’”
