Isaiah 58:10-14
10And if you 1offer yourself to the hungry And satisfy the 2need of the afflicted, Then your 3light will rise in darkness, And your gloom will become like midday.11And the 4Lord will continually guide you, And 5satisfy your 6desire in scorched places, And 7give strength to your bones; And you will be like a 8watered garden, And like a 9spring of water whose waters do not 10fail.12Those from among you will 11rebuild the ancient ruins; You will 12raise up the age-old foundations; And you will be called the repairer of the 13breach, The restorer of the 14streets in which to dwell.
13“If, because of the Sabbath, you 15restrain your foot From doing as you wish on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a 16pleasure, and the holy day of the Lord honorable, And honor it, desisting from your 17own ways, From seeking your own pleasure And 18speaking your own word,14Then you will take 19delight in the Lord, And I will make you ride 20on the heights of the earth; And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, For the 21mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
