Isaiah 28:13-15
13So the word of the Lord to them will be, “1Order on order, order on order, Line on line, line on line, A little here, a little there,” That they may go and 2stumble backward, be broken, snared, and taken captive.14Therefore, 3hear the word of the Lord, you 4scoffers, Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem,15Because you have said, “We have made a 5covenant with death, And with 6Sheol we have made a 7pact. 8The 9gushing flood will not reach us when it passes by, Because we have made 10falsehood our refuge and we have 11concealed ourselves with deception.”
