Isaiah 1:11-17

11“1What are your many sacrifices to Me?” Says the Lord. “I 2have had enough of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fattened cattle; And I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls, lambs, or goats.12When you come 3to appear before Me, Who requires 4of you this trampling of My courtyards?13Do not go on bringing your worthless offerings, 5Incense is an abomination to Me. 6New moon and Sabbath, the 7proclamation of an assembly-- I cannot 8endure wrongdoing and the festive assembly.14 9I hate your new moon festivals and your 10appointed feasts, They have become a burden to Me; I am 11tired of bearing them.15So when you 12spread out your hands in prayer, 13I will hide My eyes from you; Yes, even though you 14offer many prayers, I will not be listening. 15Your hands are 16covered with blood.

16“17Wash yourselves, 18make yourselves clean; 19Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. 20Stop doing evil,17Learn to do good; 21Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, 22Obtain justice for the orphan, Plead for the widow’s case.
