Genesis 28:12-15

And 1he had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, 2the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

Then behold, 3the Lord was standing 4above it and said, “I am the Lord, 5the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give 6to you and to 7your 8descendants.

Your 9descendants will also be like 10the dust of the earth, and you will 11spread out 12to the west and to the east, and to the north and to the south; and 13in you and in your 14descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Behold, 15I am with you and 16will keep you wherever you go, and 17will bring you back to this land; for 18I will not leave you until I have done what I have 19promised you.”
