Genesis 28:11-15
And he 1happened upon a 23particular place and spent the night there, because the sun had set; and he took one of the stones of the place and made it a support for his head, and lay down in that place.
And 4he had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, 5the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
Then behold, 6the Lord was standing 7above it and said, “I am the Lord, 8the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give 9to you and to 10your 11descendants.
Your 12descendants will also be like 13the dust of the earth, and you will 14spread out 15to the west and to the east, and to the north and to the south; and 16in you and in your 17descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Behold, 18I am with you and 19will keep you wherever you go, and 20will bring you back to this land; for 21I will not leave you until I have done what I have 22promised you.”
