Genesis 2:21-23
21So the Lord God caused a 1deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22And the Lord God 2fashioned into a woman 3the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. 23Then the man said, “4At last this is bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; 5She shall be called 6‘woman,’ Because 7she was taken out of 8man.”
