Genesis 13:14-18

14The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “1Now raise your eyes and look from the place where you are, 2northward and southward, and eastward and westward;

153for all the land which you see 4I will give to you and to your 5descendants forever.

16I will make your 6descendants 7as plentiful as the dust of the earth, so that if anyone can count the dust of the earth, then your 8descendants could also be counted.

17Arise, 9walk about in the land through its length and width; for 10I will give it to you.”

18Then Abram moved his tent and came and lived by the 1112oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron; and there he built 13an altar to the Lord.
