Galatians 5:16-25
16But I say, 1walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out 2the desire of the flesh. 17For 3the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, 4in order to keep you from doing whatever you want. 18But if you are 5led by the Spirit, 6you are not under the Law. 19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: 7sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, 20idolatry, 8witchcraft, hostilities, 9strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, 10selfish ambition, dissensions, 11factions, 21envy, 12drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not 13inherit the kingdom of God. 22But 14the fruit of the Spirit is 15love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, 16self-control; against such things 17there is no law. 24Now those who 18belong to 19Christ Jesus 20crucified the flesh with its passions and 21desires.
25If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow 22the Spirit as well.
