Context of Ezekiel 22:12
10Among you they have uncovered their fathers’ nakedness; among you they have abused her who was unclean in her menstruation. 11And one has committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife, another has outrageously defiled his daughter-in-law, and another among you has sexually abused his sister, his father’s daughter. Among you they have taken bribes to shed blood; you have taken interest, you have injured your neighbors by oppression, and you have forgotten Me,” declares the Lord God. 13“Behold, then, I strike with My hand your profit which you have made and the bloodshed which is among you. 14Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong for the days that I will deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken and will act.

Commentaries on Ezekiel 22:12
- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 6-12The charges against the people of Judah and their leaders came from God's law, especially from Leviticus 18–20; 25:1–55. Israel's many sins showed a failure to honor and trust the Lord and his commands. This unfaithfulness to their covenant with the Lord could lead to only one outcome: The people of Israel would face the covenant curses (Deuteronomy 8:19–20; 28:15–68).Read the comment
