Colossians 3:9-17

912Do not lie to one another, since you 3stripped off the old 4self with its evil practices, 10and have 5put on the new self, which is being 67renewed to a true knowledge 8according to the image of the One who 9created it-- 11a renewal in which 10there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, 11circumcised and uncircumcised, 1213barbarian, 14Scythian, 15slave, and free, but 16Christ is all, and in all.

12So, as those who have been 17chosen of God, holy and beloved, 18put on a 19heart of compassion, kindness, 20humility, gentleness, and 2122patience; 1323bearing with one another, and 24forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; 25just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also. 14In addition to all these things put on love, which is 2627the perfect bond of 28unity. 15Let 29the peace of Christ, to which you were 30indeed called in 31one body, 32rule in your hearts; and 33be thankful. 16Let 34the word of 35Christ richly dwell within you, 36with all wisdom 37teaching and admonishing 38one another 39with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, 40singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 1741Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, 42giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
