Colossians 3:9-17

912Do not lie to one another, since you 3laid aside the old 4self with its evil practices, 10and have 5put on the new self who is being 67renewed to a true knowledge 8according to the image of the One who 9created him-- 11a renewal in which 10there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, 11circumcised and uncircumcised, 1213barbarian, Scythian, 14slave and freeman, but 15Christ is all, and in all.

12So, as those who have been 16chosen of God, holy and beloved, 17put on a 18heart of compassion, kindness, 19humility, gentleness and 2021patience; 1322bearing with one another, and 23forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; 24just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. 14Beyond all these things put on love, which is 2526the perfect bond of 27unity. 15Let 28the peace of Christ 29rule in your hearts, to which 30indeed you were called in 31one body; and 32be thankful. 16Let 33the word of 34Christ richly dwell within you, 35with all wisdom 36teaching and admonishing 37one another 38with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, 39singing 40with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 1741Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, 42giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
