2 Timothy 2:13-19

13If we are faithless, 1He remains faithful, for 2He cannot deny Himself.

14Remind them of these things, and solemnly 3exhort them in the presence of God not to 4dispute about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the listeners. 15Be diligent to 5present yourself approved to God as a worker who 6does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling 7the word of truth. 16But 8avoid 9worldly and empty chatter, for 10it will lead to further ungodliness, 17and their 11talk will spread like 12gangrene. Among them are 13Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18men who have gone astray from the truth, claiming that 14the resurrection has already taken place; and they are jeopardizing 15the faith of some. 19Nevertheless, the 16firm foundation of God stands, having this 17seal: “18The Lord knows those who are His;” and, “19Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.”
