2 Thessalonians 1:1-4

11Paul, 2Silvanus, and 3Timothy,

To the 4church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: 25Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3We ought always 6to give thanks to God for you, 7brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the 8love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater. 4As a result, we ourselves 9speak proudly of you among 10the churches of God for your 11perseverance and faith 1213in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure.
