2 Thessalonians 1:1-4

11Paul and 2Silvanus and 3Timothy,

To the 4church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: 25Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3We ought always 6to give thanks to God for you, 7brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the 8love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater; 4therefore, we ourselves 9speak proudly of you among 10the churches of God for your 11perseverance and faith 12in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure.
