Corinthians 8:18-24

We have sent along with him 1the brother whose fame in the things of the 2gospel has spread through 3all the churches;

4and not only that, but he has also been 5appointed by the churches to travel with us in 6this gracious work, which is being administered by us for the glory of the Lord Himself, and to show our 7readiness,

8taking precaution so that no one will discredit us in our administration of this generous gift;

for we 9have regard for what is honorable, not only in 10the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of other people.

We have sent with them our brother, whom we have often tested and found diligent in many things, but now even more diligent because of his great confidence in you.

As for 11Titus, he is my 12partner and fellow worker 13among you; as for our 14brothers, they are 15 16messengers of the churches, 17a glory to Christ.

Therefore, 18openly before the churches, 19show them the proof of your love and of our 20reason for boasting about you.
