2 Corinthians 4:1-4

1Therefore, since we have this 1ministry, as we 2received mercy, we 3do not lose heart,

2but we have renounced the 4things hidden because of shame, not walking in trickery nor 5distorting the word of God, but by the open proclamation of the truth 6commending ourselves to every person’s conscience in the sight of God.

3And even if our 7gospel is 8veiled, it is veiled 9to 10those who are perishing,

4in whose case 11the god of 12this 13world has 14blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that 15they will not see the 16light of the gospel of the 17glory of Christ, who is the 18image of God.
