2 Corinthians 12:7-9
7Because of the extraordinary greatness of the 1revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given to me a 2thorn in the flesh, a 3messenger of Satan to 4torment me--to keep me from exalting myself!
8Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord 5three times that it might leave me.
9And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for 6power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather 7boast 8about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
