2 Corinthians 1:1-5

1Paul, 1an apostle of 2Christ Jesus 3by the will of God, and our brother 4Timothy,

To 5the church of God which is at 6Corinth with all the 7saints who are throughout 8Achaia:

2 9Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 10Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and 11God of all comfort, 4who 12comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in 13any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5For just 14as the sufferings of Christ are 15ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
