1 Thessalonians 2:15-20
151who both killed the Lord Jesus and 2the prophets, and 3drove us out. 4They are not pleasing to God, 5but hostile to all people, 166hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles 7so that they may be saved; with the result that they always 89reach the limit of their sins. But 10wrath has come upon them 11fully.
17But we, brothers and sisters, having been orphaned from you by absence for a 12short while--13in 14person, not in 15spirit--were all the more eager with great desire 16to see your face. 1817For 18we wanted to come to you--I, Paul, 1920more than once--and 21Satan 22hindered us. 19For who is our hope, or 23joy or crown of pride, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His 2425coming? Or is it not indeed you? 20For you are 26our glory and joy.
