Proverbs 1:21-33
21At the headH7218 of the noisyH1993 streets she criesH7121 out; At the entranceH6607 of the gatesH8179 in the cityH5892 she uttersH559 her sayingsH561:22“HowH4970 longH5704H4970, O 12naiveH6612 onesH6612, will you loveH157 3being simple-mindedH6612? And 4scoffersH3917 delightH2530 themselves in scoffingH3944 And foolsH3684 5hateH8130 knowledgeH1847?23TurnH7725 to my reproofH8433, BeholdH2009, I will 6pourH5042 out my spiritH7307 on you; I will makeH3045 my wordsH1697 knownH3045 to you.24BecauseH3282 7I calledH7121 and you 8refusedH3985, I 9stretchedH5186 out my handH3027 and noH369 oneH369 paidH7181 attentionH7181;25And you 10neglectedH6544 allH3605 my counselH6098 And did not 11wantH14 my reproofH8433;26I will alsoH1571 12laughH7832 at your 13calamityH343; I will mockH3932 when your 14dreadH6343 comesH935,27When your dreadH6343 comesH935 like a stormH7584 And your calamityH343 comesH857 like a 15whirlwindH5492, When distressH6869 and anguishH6695 comeH935 upon you.28ThenH227 they will 16callH7121 on me, but I will not answerH6030; They will 17seekH7836 me diligentlyH7836 but they will not findH4672 me,29BecauseH8478H3588 they 18hatedH8130 knowledgeH1847 And did not chooseH977 the fearH3374 of the LordH3068.30They 19wouldH14 not acceptH14 my counselH6098, They spurnedH5006 allH3605 my reproofH8433.31So they shall 20eatH398 of the fruitH6529 of their own wayH1870 And be 21satiatedH7646 with their own devicesH4156.32For the 22waywardnessH4878 of the 23naiveH6612 will killH2026 them, And the complacencyH7962 of foolsH3684 will destroyH6 them.33But 24he who listensH8085 to me shall 25liveH7931 securelyH983 And will be at easeH7599 from the dreadH6343 of evilH7463.”
