1 Chronicles 29:13-25
13NowH6258 therefore, our GodH430, we thankH3034 You, and praiseH1984 Your gloriousH8597 nameH8034.
14“But whoH4310 am I and whoH4310 are my peopleH5971 that we should 1be ableH6113H3581 to offerH5068 as generously as thisH2088? For allH3605 thingsH3605 come from You, and from Your handH3027 we have givenH5414 You. 15For 2we are sojournersH1616 beforeH6440 You, and tenantsH8453, as allH3605 our fathersH1 were; 3our daysH3117 on the earthH776 are like a shadowH6738, and thereH369 is noH369 hopeH4723. 16O LordH3068 our GodH430, allH3605 thisH2088 abundanceH1995 that we have providedH3559 to buildH1129 You a houseH1004 for Your holyH6944 nameH8034, it is from Your handH3027, and allH3605 is Yours. 17Since I knowH3045, O my GodH430, that 4You tryH974 the heartH3824 and 5delightH7521 in uprightnessH4339, I, in the integrityH3476 of my heartH3824, have willinglyH5068 offeredH5068 allH3605 theseH428 things; so nowH6258 with joyH8057 I have seenH7200 Your peopleH5971, who are presentH4672 hereH6311, makeH5068 their offeringsH5068 willinglyH5068 to You. 18O LordH3068, the GodH430 of AbrahamH85, IsaacH3327 and IsraelH3478, our fathersH1, preserveH8104 thisH2088 foreverH5769 in the 6intentionsH3336H4284 of the heartH3824 of Your peopleH5971, and directH3559 their heartH3824 to You; 19and 7giveH5414 to my sonH1121 SolomonH8010 a perfectH8003 heartH3824 to keepH8104 Your commandmentsH4687, Your testimoniesH5715 and Your statutesH2706, and to doH6213 them allH3605, and 8to buildH1129 the 9templeH1002, for whichH834 I have madeH3559 provisionH3559.”
20Then DavidH1732 saidH559 to allH3605 the assemblyH6951, “NowH4994 blessH1288 the LordH3068 your GodH430.” And 10allH3605 the assemblyH6951 blessedH1288 the LordH3068, the GodH430 of their fathersH1, and 11bowedH6915 lowH6915 and didH7812 homageH7812 to the LordH3068 and to the kingH4428. 21On the nextH4283 dayH3117 12they 13madeH2076 sacrificesH2077 to the LordH3068 and offeredH5927 burntH5930 offeringsH5930 to the LordH3068, 1,000H505 bullsH6499, 1,000H505 ramsH352 and 1,000H505 lambsH3532, with their drinkH5262 offeringsH5262 and sacrificesH2077 in abundanceH7230 for allH3605 IsraelH3478. 22So they ateH398 and drankH8354 that dayH3117 beforeH6440 the LordH3068 with greatH1419 gladnessH8057.
And they madeH4427 SolomonH8010 the sonH1121 of DavidH1732 kingH4427 14a secondH8145 timeH8145, and they 15anointedH4886 him as rulerH5057 for the LordH3068 and ZadokH6659 as priestH3548. 23Then 16SolomonH8010 satH3427 on the throneH3678 of the LordH3068 as kingH4428 insteadH8478 of DavidH1732 his fatherH1; and he prosperedH6743, and allH3605 IsraelH3478 obeyedH8085 him. 24AllH3605 the officialsH8269, the mightyH1368 menH1368, and alsoH1571 allH3605 the sonsH1121 of KingH4428 DavidH1732 17pledgedH5414 allegianceH3027H8478 to KingH4428 SolomonH8010. 2518The LordH3068 highlyH4605 exaltedH1431 SolomonH8010 in the sightH5869 of allH3605 IsraelH3478, and 19bestowedH5414 on him royalH4438 majestyH1935 whichH834 hadH1961 not beenH1961 on anyH3605 kingH4428 beforeH6440 him in IsraelH3478.
