Romans 8:18-39

18For I consider that the sufferings of this present time 1are not worthy to be compared with the 2glory that is to be revealed to us. 19For the 3anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for 4the revealing of the 5sons of God. 20For the creation 6was subjected to 7futility, not willingly, but 8because of Him who subjected it, 9in hope 21that 10the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation 11groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 2312And not only this, but also we ourselves, having 13the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves 14groan within ourselves, 15waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, 16the redemption of our body. 24For 17in hope we have been saved, but 18hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25But 19if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

26In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for 20we do not know how to pray as we should, but 21the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; 27and 22He who searches the hearts knows what 23the mind of the Spirit is, because He 24intercedes for the 25saints according to the will of God.

28And we know that 26God causes 27all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are 28called according to His purpose. 29For those whom He 29foreknew, He also 30predestined to become 31conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the 32firstborn among many brethren; 30and these whom He 33predestined, He also 34called; and these whom He called, He also 35justified; and these whom He justified, He also 36glorified.

3137What then shall we say to these things? 38If God is for us, who is against us? 32He who 39did not spare His own Son, but 40delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33Who will bring a charge against 41God’s elect? 42God is the one who justifies; 34who is the one who 43condemns? Christ Jesus is He who 44died, yes, rather who was 4546raised, who is 47at the right hand of God, who also 48intercedes for us. 35Who will separate us from 49the love of 50Christ? Will 51tribulation, or distress, or 52persecution, or 53famine, or 54nakedness, or 55peril, or sword? 36Just as it is written, “56For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37But in all these things we overwhelmingly 57conquer through 58Him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither 59death, nor life, nor 60angels, nor principalities, nor 61things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from 62the love of God, which is 63in Christ Jesus our Lord.
