10‘And anyוְאִ֨ישׁve.'IshH376manאִ֜ישׁ'ishH376from the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,or from the aliensהַגֵּר֙ha.GerH1616who sojournהַגָּ֣רha.GarH1481amongבְּתוֹכָ֔םbe.to.KhamH8432them, whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834eatsיֹאכַ֖לyo.KhalH398anyכָּל־kol-H3605bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818,I will setוְנָתַתִּ֣יve.na.ta.TiH5414My faceפָנַ֗יfa.NaiH6440against that personבַּנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ba.Ne.feshH5315who eatsהָאֹכֶ֣לֶתha.'o.Khe.letH398bloodהַדָּ֔םha.DamH1818and will cutוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772him offH3772from amongמִקֶּ֥רֶבmi.Ke.revH7130his peopleעַמָּֽהּ׃'a.MahH5971.
11For thelifeנֶ֣פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of the fleshהַבָּשָׂר֮ha.ba.SarH1320is in the bloodבַּדָּ֣םba.DamH1818,and I have givenנְתַתִּ֤יוne.ta.TivH5414it to you on the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196to makeלְכַפֵּ֖רle.kha.PerH3722atonementיְכַפֵּֽר׃ye.kha.PerH3722for your soulsנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶ֑םnaf.sho.tei.KhemH5315; forit is the bloodהַדָּ֥םha.DamH1818by reason of thelifeבַּנֶּ֥פֶשׁba.Ne.feshH5315that makesH3722atonementH3722.’
12Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֤ן'al- kenH5921H3651I saidאָמַ֙רְתִּי֙'a.Mar.tiH559to the sonsלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, ‘Noכָּל־ לֹא־kol- lo'-H3605H3808personנֶ֥פֶשׁNe.feshH5315amongH4480you may eatתֹ֣אכַלTo.khalH398bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818,norלֹא־lo'-H3808may any alienוְהַגֵּ֛רve.ha.GerH1616who sojournsהַגָּ֥רha.GarH1481amongבְּתוֹכְכֶ֖םbe.tokh.KhemH8432you eatיֹ֥אכַלYo.khalH398bloodדָּֽם׃ סDamH1818.’
13So when anyוְאִ֨ישׁve.'IshH376manאִ֜ישׁ'ishH376from the sonsמִבְּנֵ֣יmi.be.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,or from the aliensהַגֵּר֙ha.GerH1616who sojournהַגָּ֣רha.GarH1481amongבְּתוֹכָ֔םbe.to.KhamH8432them,in huntingצֵ֥ידtzeidH6718catchesיָצ֜וּדya.TzudH6679a beastH2421orאוֹ־'ov-H176a birdע֖וֹףofH5775whichH834may be eatenיֵאָכֵ֑לye.'a.KhelH398,he shall pourוְשָׁפַךְ֙ve.sha.faKhH8210out its bloodדָּמ֔וֹda.MoH1818and coverוְכִסָּ֖הוּve.khi.Sa.huH3680it with earthבֶּעָפָֽר׃be.'a.FarH6083.
14“For as for thelifeנֶ֣פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of allכָּל־kol-H3605fleshבָּשָׂ֗רba.SarH1320,its bloodדָּמ֣וֹda.MoH1818is identified with itslifeבְנַפְשׁוֹ֮ve.naf.ShoH5315.Therefore I saidוָֽאֹמַר֙va.'o.MarH559to the sonsלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, ‘You are not to eatתֹאכֵ֑לוּto.Khe.luH398the bloodדַּ֥םdamH1818of anyכָּל־kol-H3605fleshבָּשָׂ֖רba.SarH1320, for thelifeנֶ֤פֶשׁNe.feshH5315of allכָּל־kol-H3605fleshבָּשָׂר֙ba.SarH1320is its bloodדָּמ֣וֹda.MoH1818;whoeverכָּל־kol-H3605eatsאֹכְלָ֖יו'o.khe.LavH398it shall be cutיִכָּרֵֽת׃yi.ka.RetH3772offH3772.’
