18When the childהַיָּ֑לֶדhai.Ya.ledH3206was grownוַיִּגְדַּ֖לvai.yig.DalH1431,the dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117cameוַיְהִ֣יvay.HiH1961that he wentוַיֵּצֵ֥אvai.ye.Tze'H3318out to his fatherאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1to the reapersהַקֹּצְרִֽים׃ha.ko.tze.RimH7114.

19He saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to his fatherאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1, “My headרֹאשִׁ֣י׀ro.ShiH7218,my headרֹאשִׁ֑יro.ShiH7218.”And he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559to his servantהַנַּ֔עַרha.Na.'arH5288, “Carryשָׂאֵ֖הוּsa.'E.huH5375him to his motherאִמּֽוֹ׃'i.MoH517.”

20When he had takenוַיִּשָּׂאֵ֔הוּvai.yi.sa.'E.huH5375him and broughtוַיְבִיאֵ֖הוּvay.vi.'E.huH935him to his motherאִמּ֑וֹ'i.MoH517,he satוַיֵּ֧שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427on herlapבִּרְכֶּ֛יהָbir.Kei.haH1290untilעַד־'ad-H5704noonהַֽצָּהֳרַ֖יִםha.tzo.ho.Ra.yimH6672, and thendiedוַיָּמֹֽת׃vai.ya.MotH4191.

21She wentוַתַּ֙עַל֙va.Ta.'alH5927up andlaidוַתַּשְׁכִּבֵ֔הוּva.tash.ki.Ve.huH7901him on the bedמִטַּ֖תmi.TatH4296ofthe manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,and shutוַתִּסְגֹּ֥רva.tis.GorH5462the doorbehindבַּעֲד֖וֹba.'a.DoH1157him and wentוַתֵּצֵֽא׃va.te.Tze'H3318out.

22Then she calledוַתִּקְרָא֮va.tik.Ra'H7121to her husbandאִישָׁהּ֒'i.ShahH376and saidוַתֹּ֗אמֶרva.To.merH559, “Pleaseנָ֥אna'H4994sendשִׁלְחָ֨הshil.ChahH7971me oneאֶחָ֣ד'e.ChadH259of the servantsהַנְּעָרִ֔יםha.ne.'a.RimH5288and oneוְאַחַ֖תve.'a.ChatH259of the donkeysהָאֲתֹנ֑וֹתha.'a.to.NotH860,that I may runוְאָר֛וּצָהve.'a.Ru.tzahH7323to the manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430and returnוְאָשֽׁוּבָה׃ve.'a.Shu.vahH7725.”

23He saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Whyמַ֠דּוּעַMa.du.a'H4069will you goהֹלֶ֤כֶתho.lakh.tiH1980to him todayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117?It is neitherלֹֽא־lo'-H3808newחֹ֖דֶשׁCho.deshH2320moonH2320norוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808sabbathשַׁבָּ֑תsha.BatH7676.”And she saidוַתֹּ֖אמֶרva.To.merH559, “It will bewellשָׁלֽוֹם׃sha.LomH7965.”

24Then she saddledוַֽתַּחֲבֹשׁ֙va.ta.cha.VoshH2280a donkeyהָֽאָת֔וֹןha.'a.TonH860and saidוַתֹּ֥אמֶרva.To.merH559to her servantנַעֲרָ֖הּna.'a.RahH5288, “Driveנְהַ֣גne.HagH5090and goוָלֵ֑ךְva.LekhH1980forward; do not slowH6113downH6113the paceלִרְכֹּ֔בlir.KoH7392for me unlessכִּ֖י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518I tellאָמַ֥רְתִּי'a.Mar.tiH559you.”

25So she wentוַתֵּ֗לֶךְva.Te.lekhH1980and cameוַתָּב֛וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935to the manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430toMountהַ֣רharH2022Carmelהַכַּרְמֶ֑לha.kar.MelH3760.When the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֤יםha.'E.lo.HimH430sawכִּרְא֨וֹתkir.'otH7200her at a distanceמִנֶּ֔גֶדmi.Ne.gedH4480 H5048,he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559to Gehaziגֵּיחֲזִ֣יgei.cha.ZiH1522his servantנַעֲר֔וֹna.'a.RoH5288, “Beholdהִנֵּ֖הhi.NehH2009,thereהַלָּֽז׃ha.LazH1975is the Shunammiteהַשּׁוּנַמִּ֥יתha.shu.na.MitH7767.

26Pleaseנָ֣אna'H4994runרֽוּץ־rutz-H7323nowעַתָּה֮'a.TahH6258to meetלִקְרָאתָהּ֒lik.ra.TahH7122her and sayוֶאֱמָר־ve.'e.mor-H559to her, ‘Is it wellהֲשָׁל֥וֹםha.sha.LomH7965with you? Is it wellהֲשָׁל֥וֹםha.sha.LomH7965with your husbandלְאִישֵׁ֖ךְle.'i.ShekhH376?Is it wellהֲשָׁל֣וֹםha.sha.LomH7965with the childלַיָּ֑לֶדlai.Ya.ledH3206?’” And sheansweredוַתֹּ֖אמֶרva.To.merH559, “It is wellשָׁלֽוֹם׃sha.LomH7965.”

27When she cameוַתָּבֹ֞אva.ta.Vo'H935to the manאִ֤ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ha.'E.lo.HimH430to the hillהָהָ֔רha.HarH2022,she caughtH2388holdוַֽתַּחֲזֵ֖קva.ta.cha.ZekH2388of his feetבְּרַגְלָ֑יוbe.rag.LavH7272.And Gehaziגֵּֽיחֲזִ֜יgei.cha.ZiH1522cameH5066nearH5066to pushH1920her awayH1920;but the manאִ֨ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֤יםha.'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559, “LetH7503her aloneH7503,for her soulנַפְשָׁ֣הּnaf.ShahH5315istroubledמָֽרָה־ma.rah-H4843within her; and the Lordוַֽיהוָה֙va.Yah.wehH3068has hiddenהֶעְלִ֣יםhe'.LimH5956it from me and has not toldהִגִּ֖ידhi.GidH5046me.”
