36But the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971were silentוְהֶחֱרִ֣ישׁוּve.he.che.Ri.shuH2790and answeredעָנ֥וּ'a.NuH6030him not a wordדָּבָ֑רda.VarH1697,for the king’sהַמֶּ֥לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428commandmentמִצְוַ֨תmitz.VatH4687was, “Do not answerתַעֲנֻֽהוּ׃ta.'a.Nu.huH6030him.”
