5BeholdH2009, Iintendאֹמֵ֔ר'o.MerH559to buildלִבְנ֣וֹתliv.NotH1129a houseבַּ֔יִתBa.yitH1004for the nameלְשֵׁ֖םle.ShemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068my Godאֱלֹהָ֑י'e.lo.HaiH430,as the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068spokeדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696to Davidדָּוִ֤דda.VidH1732my fatherאָבִי֙'a.ViH1,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, ‘Your sonבִּנְךָ֗bin.KhaH1121,whomH834I will setאֶתֵּ֤ן'e.TenH5414on your throneכִּסְאֶ֔ךָkis.'E.khaH3678in your placeH8478,he will buildיִבְנֶ֥הyiv.NehH1129the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004for My nameלִשְׁמִֽי׃lish.MiH8034.’

6Nowוְעַתָּ֡הve.'a.TahH6258therefore, commandצַוֵּה֩tza.VehH6680that they cutוְיִכְרְתוּ־ve.yikh.re.tu-H3772for mecedarsאֲרָזִ֜ים'a.ra.ZimH730from Lebanonהַלְּבָנ֗וֹןha.le.va.NonH3844,and my servantsוַֽעֲבָדַי֙va.'a.va.DaiH5650will be with your servantsעֲבָדֶ֔יךָ'a.va.Dei.khaH5650;and I will giveאֶתֵּ֣ן'e.TenH5414you wagesוּשְׂכַ֤רu.se.KharH7939for your servantsעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙'a.va.Dei.khaH5650according to allכְּכֹ֖לke.KholH3605that you sayתֹּאמֵ֑רto.MerH559,for you knowיָדַ֗עְתָּya.Da'.taH3045that thereH369is noH369oneאִ֛ישׁ'ishH376among us who knowsיֹדֵ֥עַyo.De.a'H3045how to cutלִכְרָת־likh.rot-H3772timberעֵצִ֖ים'e.TzimH6086like the Sidoniansכַּצִּדֹנִֽים׃ka.tzi.do.NimH6722.”

7When Hiramחִירָ֛םchi.RamH2438heardכִּשְׁמֹ֧עַkish.Mo.a'H8085the wordsH1697of SolomonH8010,he rejoicedוַיִּשְׂמַ֣חvai.yis.MachH8055greatlyמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Blessedבָּר֤וּךְba.RukhH1288be the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068todayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117,whoאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834has givenנָתַ֤ןna.TanH5414to Davidלְדָוִד֙le.da.VidH1732a wiseחָכָ֔םcha.KhamH2450sonבֵּ֣ןbenH1121overעַל־'al-H5921thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088greatהָרָ֖בha.RavH7227peopleהָעָ֥םha.'AmH5971.”

8So Hiramחִירָם֙chi.RamH2438sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971wordto Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֣הshe.lo.MohH8010,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “I have heardשָׁמַ֕עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085the messagewhichH834you have sentשָׁלַ֖חְתָּsha.Lach.taH7971me; I will doאֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙'e.'e.SehH6213whatH2656you desireחֶפְצְךָ֔chef.tze.KhaH2656concerning the cedarאֲרָזִ֖ים'a.ra.ZimH730and cypressבְרוֹשִֽׁים׃ve.ro.ShimH1265timberH6086.

9My servantsעֲ֠בָדַי'A.va.daiH5650will bringיֹרִ֨דוּyo.Ri.duH3381themdownH3381from Lebanonהַלְּבָנ֜וֹןha.le.va.NonH3844to the seaH3220;and I will makeאֲשִׂימֵ֨ם'a.si.MemH7760them into raftsדֹּבְר֤וֹתdoe.RotH1702to goby seaH3220to the placeהַמָּק֞וֹםha.ma.KomH4725whereH834youdirectתִּשְׁלַ֥חtish.LachH7971me, and I will have them brokenוְנִפַּצְתִּ֥יםve.ni.patz.TimH5310up thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033,and you shall carryתִשָּׂ֑אti.Sa'H5375them away. 12The Lordוַיהוָ֗הva.Yah.wehH3068gaveנָתַ֤ןna.TanH5414wisdomחָכְמָה֙chokh.mahH2451to Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֔הlish.lo.MohH8010,justH3512as HepromisedH1696him; and there was peaceשָׁלֹ֗םsha.LomH7965betweenH996Hiramחִירָם֙chi.RamH2438and Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֔הshe.lo.MohH8010,and the twoשְׁנֵיהֶֽם׃she.nei.HemH8147of them madeוַיִּכְרְת֥וּvai.yikh.re.TuH3772a covenantבְרִ֖יתve.RitH1285.
