Revelation 9:13-21

13Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard 1a voice from the 2four 3horns of the 4golden altar which is before God, 14one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the 5four angels who are bound at the 6great river Euphrates.” 15And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were 7released, so that they would kill a 8third of 9mankind. 16The number of the armies of the horsemen was 10two hundred million; 11I heard the number of them. 17And 12this is how I saw 13in the vision the horses and those who sat on them: the riders had breastplates the color of fire and of hyacinth and of 1415brimstone; and the heads of the horses are like the heads of lions; and 16out of their mouths proceed fire and smoke and 1718brimstone. 18A 19third of 20mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the 21fire and the smoke and the 22brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths. 19For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents and have heads, and with them they do harm.

20The rest of 23mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, 24did not repent of 25the works of their hands, so as not to 26worship demons, and 27the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; 21and they 28did not repent of their murders nor of their 29sorceries nor of their 30immorality nor of their thefts.
