Revelation 17:8-14

8“1The beast that you saw 2was, and is not, and is about to 3come up out of the 4abyss and 56go to destruction. And 7those who dwell on the earth, 8whose name has not been written in the book of life 9from the foundation of the world, will 10wonder when they see the beast, that he was and is not and will come. 911Here is the mind which has wisdom. The 12seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits, 10and they are seven 13kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. 11The beast which 14was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he 15goes to destruction. 12The 16ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast 17for one hour. 13These have 18one 19purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast. 14These will wage 20war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will 21overcome them, because He is 22Lord of lords and 23King of kings, and 24those who are with Him are the 25called and chosen and faithful.”
