Revelation 1:8-11

8“I am 1the Alpha and the Omega,” says the 2Lord God, “3who is and who was and who 4is to come, the Almighty.”

9 5I, John, your 6brother and 7fellow partaker in the tribulation and 8kingdom and 9 10perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos 11because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10I was 12 13in the Spirit on 14the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice 15like the sound of a trumpet, 11saying, “16Write in a 17book what you see, and send it to the 18seven churches: to 19Ephesus and to 20Smyrna and to 21Pergamum and to 22Thyatira and to 23Sardis and to 24Philadelphia and to 25Laodicea.”
