Isaiah 30:27-33
27Behold, 1the name of the Lord comes from a 2remote place; 3Burning is His anger and 4dense is His 5smoke; His lips are filled with 6indignation And His tongue is like a 7consuming fire;28His 8breath is like an overflowing torrent, Which 9reaches to the neck, To 10shake the nations back and forth in a 11sieve, And to put in the jaws of the peoples 12the bridle which 13leads to ruin.29You will have 14songs as in the night when you keep the festival, And gladness of heart as when one marches to the sound of the flute, To go to the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.30And the Lord will cause 15His voice of authority to be heard, And the 16descending of His arm to be seen in fierce anger, And in the flame of a consuming fire In cloudburst, downpour and hailstones.31For 17at the voice of the Lord 18Assyria will be terrified, When He strikes with the 19rod.32And every 20blow of the 2122rod of punishment, Which the Lord will lay on him, Will be with the music of 23tambourines and lyres; And in battles, 24brandishing weapons, He will fight them.33For 2526Topheth has long been ready, Indeed, it has been prepared for the king. He has made it deep and large, 27A pyre of fire with plenty of wood; The 28breath of the Lord, like a torrent of 29brimstone, sets it afire.
