1 Corinthians 16:8-24
8But I will remain in 1Ephesus until 2Pentecost; 9for a 3wide door 4for effective service has opened to me, and 5there are many adversaries.
10Now if 6Timothy comes, see that he is with you without 7cause to be afraid, for he is doing 8the Lord’s work, as I also am. 119So let no one despise him. But 10send him on his way 11in peace, so that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brethren.
12But concerning 12Apollos our brother, I encouraged him greatly to come to you with the brethren; and it was not at all his desire to come now, but he will come when he has opportunity.
1313Be on the alert, 14stand firm in the faith, 15act like men, 16be strong. 14Let all that you do be done 17in love.
15Now I urge you, brethren (you know the 18household of Stephanas, that 19they were the 20first fruits of 21Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves for 22ministry to 23the saints), 16that 24you also be in subjection to such men and to everyone who helps in the work and labors. 17I rejoice over the 2526coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have 27supplied 28what was lacking on your part. 18For they 29have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore 30acknowledge such men.
19The churches of 31Asia greet you. 32Aquila and Prisca greet you heartily in the Lord, with 33the church that is in their house. 20All the brethren greet you. 34Greet one another with a holy kiss.
21The greeting is in 35my own hand--36Paul. 22If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be 3738accursed. 3940Maranatha. 2341The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. 24My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
