2And they stoodוַֽתַּעֲמֹ֜דְנָהva.ta.'a.Mo.de.nahH5975beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872,and beforeוְלִפְנֵי֙ve.lif.NeiH6440Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֣ר'el.'a.ZarH499the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548,and beforeוְלִפְנֵ֥יve.lif.NeiH6440the princesהַנְּשִׂיאִ֖םha.ne.si.'ImH5387and all the congregationהָעֵדָ֑הha.'e.DahH5712, bythe doorפֶּ֥תַחPe.tachH6607of the tabernacleאֹֽהֶל־'o.hel-H168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֖דmo.'EdH4150,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

3Our fatherאָבִינוּ֮'a.vi.NuH1diedמֵ֣תmetH4191in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּר֒ba.mid.BarH4057,and he was not inבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the companyהָעֵדָ֗הha.'e.DahH5712of them that gathered themselves togetherהַנּוֹעָדִ֛יםha.no.'a.DimH3259against the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068in the companyבַּעֲדַת־ba.'a.dat-H5712of Korahקֹ֑רַחKo.rachH7141;but diedמֵ֔תMetH4191in his own sinבְחֶטְא֣וֹve.chet.'OH2399,and had no sonsוּבָנִ֖יםu.va.NimH1121.

4Why should the nameשֵׁם־shem-H8034of our fatherאָבִ֙ינוּ֙'a.Vi.nuH1be done awayיִגָּרַ֤עyi.ga.Ra'H1639from amongמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432his familyמִשְׁפַּחְתּ֔וֹmish.pach.ToH4940,because he hath no sonבֵּ֑ןBenH1121?Giveתְּנָה־te.nah-H5414unto us thereforea possessionאֲחֻזָּ֔ה'a.chu.ZahH272amongבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the brethrenאֲחֵ֥י'a.CheiH251of our fatherאָבִֽינוּ׃'a.Vi.nuH1.

5And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֛הmo.ShehH4872broughtוַיַּקְרֵ֥בvai.yak.RevH7126their causeמִשְׁפָּטָ֖ןmish.pa.TanH4941beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

6And the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spakeוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

7The daughtersבְּנ֣וֹתbe.NotH1323of Zelophehadצְלָפְחָד֮tze.la.fe.ChadH6765speakדֹּבְרֹת֒doe.RotH1696rightכֵּ֗ןKenH3651:thou shalt surelyנָתֹ֨ןna.TonH5414giveתִּתֵּ֤ןti.TenH5414them a possessionאֲחֻזַּ֣ת'a.chu.ZatH272of an inheritanceנַחֲלָ֔הna.cha.LahH5159amongבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432their father’sאֲבִיהֶ֑ם'a.vi.HemH1brethrenאֲחֵ֣י'a.CheiH251;and thou shalt cause the inheritanceנַחֲלַ֥תna.cha.LatH5159of their fatherאֲבִיהֶ֖ן'a.vi.HenH1to passוְהַֽעֲבַרְתָּ֛ve.ha.'a.var.TaH5674unto them.

8And thou shalt speakתְּדַבֵּ֣רte.da.BerH1696unto the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,If a manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376dieיָמ֗וּתya.MutH4191,and have no sonוּבֵן֙u.VenH1121,then ye shall cause his inheritanceנַחֲלָת֖וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159to passוְהַֽעֲבַרְתֶּ֥םve.ha.'a.var.TemH5674unto his daughterלְבִתּֽוֹ׃le.vi.ToH1323.

9And if he have no daughterבַּ֑תBatH1323,then ye shall giveוּנְתַתֶּ֥םu.ne.ta.TemH5414his inheritanceנַחֲלָת֖וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159unto his brethrenלְאֶחָיו׃le.'e.chavH251.

10And if he have no brethrenאַחִ֑ים'a.ChimH251,then ye shall giveוּנְתַתֶּ֥םu.ne.ta.TemH5414his inheritanceנַחֲלָת֖וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159unto his father’sאָבִֽיו׃'a.VivH1brethrenלַאֲחֵ֥יla.'a.CheiH251.

11And if his fatherלְאָבִיו֒le.'a.VivH1have no brethrenאַחִים֮'a.ChimH251,then ye shall giveוּנְתַתֶּ֣םu.ne.ta.TemH5414his inheritanceנַחֲלָת֗וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159unto his kinsmanלִשְׁאֵר֞וֹlish.'e.RoH7607that is nextהַקָּרֹ֥בha.ka.RoH7138to him of his familyמִמִּשְׁפַּחְתּ֖וֹmi.mish.pach.ToH4940,and he shall possessוְיָרַ֣שׁve.ya.RashH3423it: and it shall be unto the childrenלִבְנֵ֤יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478a statuteלְחֻקַּ֣תle.chu.KatH2708of judgmentמִשְׁפָּ֔טmish.PatH4941,as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ סmo.ShehH4872.

12And the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872,Get thee upעֲלֵ֛ה'a.LehH5927into this mountהַ֥רharH2022Abarimהָעֲבָרִ֖יםha.'a.va.RimH5682,and seeוּרְאֵה֙u.re.'EhH7200the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776which I have givenנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414unto the childrenלִבְנֵ֥יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

13And when thou hast seenוְרָאִ֣יתָהve.ra.'I.tahH7200it, thou also shalt be gatheredוְנֶאֱסַפְתָּ֥ve.ne.'e.saf.TaH622unto thy peopleעַמֶּ֖יךָ'a.Mei.khaH5971,as Aaronאַהֲרֹ֥ן'a.ha.RonH175thy brotherאָחִֽיךָ׃'a.Chi.khaH251was gatheredנֶאֱסַ֖ףne.'e.SafH622.

14For ye rebelledמְרִיתֶ֨םme.ri.TemH4784against my commandmentפִּ֜יpiH6310in the desertבְּמִדְבַּר־be.mid.bar-H4057of Zinצִ֗ןTzinH6790,in the strifeבִּמְרִיבַת֙bim.ri.VatH4808of the congregationהָֽעֵדָ֔הha.'e.DahH5712,to sanctifyלְהַקְדִּישֵׁ֥נִיle.hak.di.She.niH6942me at the waterבַמַּ֖יִםva.Ma.yimH4325before their eyesלְעֵינֵיהֶ֑םle.'ei.nei.HemH5869: that isthe waterמֵֽי־mei-H4325of Meribahמְרִיבַ֥תme.ri.VatH4809in Kadeshקָדֵ֖שׁka.DeshH6946in the wildernessמִדְבַּר־mid.bar-H4057of Zinצִֽן׃ פTzinH6790.

15And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֣רvay.da.BerH1696unto the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

16Let the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of the spiritsהָרוּחֹ֖תha.ru.ChotH7307of all fleshבָּשָׂ֑רba.SarH1320,setיִפְקֹ֣דyif.KodH6485a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376over the congregationהָעֵדָֽה׃ha.'e.DahH5712,

17Which may go outיֵצֵ֣אye.Tze'H3318beforeלִפְנֵיהֶ֗םlif.nei.HemH6440them, and which may go inיָבֹא֙ya.Vo'H935beforeלִפְנֵיהֶ֔םlif.nei.HemH6440them, and which may lead them outיוֹצִיאֵ֖םyo.tzi.'EmH3318,and which may bring them inיְבִיאֵ֑םye.vi.'EmH935;that the congregationעֲדַ֣ת'a.DatH5712of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068be not as sheepכַּצֹּ֕אןka.TzonH6629which have no shepherdרֹעֶֽה׃ro.'EhH7462.

18And the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872,Takeקַח־kach-H3947thee Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091the sonבִּן־bin-H1121of Nunנ֔וּןNunH5126,a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376in whom isthe spiritר֣וּחַRu.achH7307,and layוְסָמַכְתָּ֥ve.sa.makh.TaH5564thine handיָדְךָ֖ya.de.KhaH3027upon him;

19And setוְהַֽעֲמַדְתָּ֣ve.ha.'a.mad.TaH5975him beforeלִפְנֵי֙lif.NeiH6440Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֣ר'el.'a.ZarH499the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548,and beforeוְלִפְנֵ֖יve.lif.NeiH6440all the congregationהָעֵדָ֑הha.'e.DahH5712;and give him a chargeוְצִוִּיתָ֥הve.tzi.vi.TahH6680in their sightלְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃le.'ei.nei.HemH5869.

20And thou shalt putוְנָתַתָּ֥הve.na.ta.TahH5414someof thine honourמֵהֽוֹדְךָ֖me.hod.KhaH1935upon him, that all the congregationעֲדַ֖ת'a.DatH5712of the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478may be obedientיִשְׁמְע֔וּyish.me.'UH8085.

21And he shall standיַעֲמֹ֔דya.'a.ModH5975beforeוְלִפְנֵ֨יve.lif.NeiH6440Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֤ר'el.'a.ZarH499the priestהַכֹּהֵן֙ha.ko.HenH3548,who shall askוְשָׁ֥אַלve.Sha.'alH7592counselfor him after the judgmentבְּמִשְׁפַּ֥טbe.mish.PatH4941of Urimהָאוּרִ֖יםha.'u.RimH224beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:at his wordפִּ֨יוpivH6310shall they go outיֵצְא֜וּye.tze.'UH3318,and at his wordפִּ֣יוpivH6310they shall come inיָבֹ֗אוּya.Vo.'uH935, bothhe, and all the childrenבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֥לYis.ra.'ElH3478with him, even all the congregationהָעֵדָֽה׃ha.'e.DahH5712.

22And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872didוַיַּ֣עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680him: and he tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091,and setוַיַּֽעֲמִדֵ֙הוּ֙vai.ya.'a.mi.De.huH5975him beforeלִפְנֵי֙lif.NeiH6440Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֣ר'el.'a.ZarH499the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548,and beforeוְלִפְנֵ֖יve.lif.NeiH6440all the congregationהָעֵדָֽה׃ha.'e.DahH5712:

23And he laidוַיִּסְמֹ֧ךְvai.yis.MokhH5564his handsיָדָ֛יוya.DavH3027upon him, and gave him a chargeוַיְצַוֵּ֑הוּvay.tza.Ve.huH6680,as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696by the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃ פmo.ShehH4872.
