2Speakדַּבֵּר֙da.BerH1696unto Aaronאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175,and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֖ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto him, When thou lightestבְּהַעֲלֹֽתְךָ֙be.ha.'a.lo.te.KhaH5927the lampsהַנֵּרֹ֔תha.ne.RotH5216,the sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651lampsהַנֵּרֽוֹת׃ha.ne.RotH5216shall give lightיָאִ֖ירוּya.'I.ruH215over againstמוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣יmul pe.NeiH4136 H6440the candlestickהַמְּנוֹרָ֔הha.me.no.RahH4501.

3And Aaronאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175didוַיַּ֤עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213so; he lightedהֶעֱלָ֖הhe.'e.LahH5927the lampsנֵרֹתֶ֑יהָne.ro.Tei.haH5216thereof over againstמוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣יmul pe.NeiH6440 H4136the candlestickהַמְּנוֹרָ֔הha.me.no.RahH4501,as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃mo.ShehH4872.

4And this workמַעֲשֵׂ֤הma.'a.SehH4639of the candlestickהַמְּנֹרָה֙ha.me.no.RahH4501was ofbeatenמִקְשָׁ֣הmik.ShahH4749goldזָהָ֔בza.HavH2091,unto the shaftיְרֵכָ֥הּye.re.KhahH3409thereof, unto the flowersפִּרְחָ֖הּpir.ChahH6525thereof, wasbeaten workמִקְשָׁ֣הmik.ShahH4749:according unto the patternכַּמַּרְאֶ֗הka.mar.'EhH4758which the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068had shewedהֶרְאָ֤הher.'AhH7200Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872,so he madeעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213the candlestickהַמְּנֹרָֽה׃ פha.me.no.RahH4501.

5And the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

6Takeקַ֚חkachH3947the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881from amongמִתּ֖וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and cleanseוְטִהַרְתָּ֖ve.ti.har.TaH2891them.

7And thus shalt thou doתַעֲשֶׂ֤הta.'a.SehH6213unto them, to cleanseלְטַֽהֲרָ֔םle.ta.ha.RamH2891them: Sprinkleהַזֵּ֥הha.ZehH5137waterמֵ֣יmeiH4325of purifyingחַטָּ֑אתcha.TatH2403upon them, and let them shaveוְהֶעֱבִ֤ירוּ תַ֙עַר֙ve.he.'e.Vi.ru ta.'arH5674 H8593all their fleshבְּשָׂרָ֔םbe.sa.RamH1320,and let them washוְכִבְּס֥וּve.khi.be.SuH3526their clothesבִגְדֵיהֶ֖םvig.dei.HemH899, and somake themselves cleanוְהִטֶּהָֽרוּ׃ve.hi.te.Ha.ruH2891.

8Then let them takeוְלָֽקְחוּ֙ve.la.ke.ChuH3947a youngבֶּן־ בָּקָ֔רben- ba.KarH1241 H1121bullockפַּ֣רparH6499with his meat offeringוּמִנְחָת֔וֹu.min.cha.ToH4503, evenfine flourסֹ֖לֶתSo.letH5560mingledבְּלוּלָ֣הbe.lu.LahH1101with oilבַשָּׁ֑מֶןva.Sha.menH8081,and anotherשֵׁנִ֥יshe.NiH8145youngבֶן־ בָּקָ֖רven- ba.KarH1241 H1121bullockוּפַר־u.far-H6499shalt thou takeתִּקַּ֥חti.KachH3947for a sin offeringלְחַטָּֽאת׃le.cha.TatH2403.

9And thou shalt bringוְהִקְרַבְתָּ֙ve.hik.rav.TaH7126the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150:and thou shalt gatherH6950the whole assemblyעֲדַ֖ת'a.DatH5712of the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478togetherH6950:

10And thou shalt bringוְהִקְרַבְתָּ֥ve.hik.rav.TaH7126the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֖םhal.vi.YimH3881beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:and the childrenבְנֵי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478shall putוְסָמְכ֧וּve.sa.me.KhuH5564their handsיְדֵיהֶ֖םye.dei.HemH3027upon the Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881:

11And Aaronאַהֲרֹ֨ן'a.ha.RonH175shall offerוְהֵנִיף֩ve.he.NifH5130the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֤םhal.vi.YimH3881beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068foran offeringתְּנוּפָה֙te.nu.FahH8573of the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,that they may executeלַעֲבֹ֖דla.'a.VodH5647the serviceעֲבֹדַ֥ת'a.vo.DatH5656of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

12And the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּם֙ve.hal.vi.YimH3881shall layיִסְמְכ֣וּyis.me.KhuH5564their handsיְדֵיהֶ֔םye.dei.HemH3027upon the headsרֹ֣אשׁroshH7218of the bullocksהַפָּרִ֑יםha.pa.RimH6499:and thou shalt offerוַ֠עֲשֵׂהVa.'a.sehH6213the oneהָאֶחָ֨דha.'e.ChadH259fora sin offeringחַטָּ֜אתcha.TatH2403,and the otherהָאֶחָ֤דha.'e.ChadH259fora burnt offeringעֹלָה֙'o.LahH5930,unto the Lordלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,to make an atonementלְכַפֵּ֖רle.kha.PerH3722for the Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881.

13And thou shalt setוְהַֽעֲמַדְתָּ֙ve.ha.'a.mad.TaH5975the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן'a.ha.RonH175,and beforeוְלִפְנֵ֣יve.lif.NeiH6440his sonsבָנָ֑יוva.NavH1121,and offerוְהֵנַפְתָּ֥ve.he.naf.TaH5130them foran offeringתְּנוּפָ֖הte.nu.FahH8573unto the Lordלַֽיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

14Thus shalt thou separateוְהִבְדַּלְתָּ֙ve.hiv.dal.TaH914the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881from amongמִתּ֖וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478:and the Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881shall be mine.

15And afterוְאַֽחֲרֵי־ve.'a.cha.rei-H310that shall the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881go inיָבֹ֣אוּya.Vo.'uH935to do the serviceלַעֲבֹ֖דla.'a.VodH5647of the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150:and thou shalt cleanseוְטִֽהַרְתָּ֣ve.ti.har.TaH2891them, and offerוְהֵנַפְתָּ֥ve.he.naf.TaH5130them foran offeringתְּנוּפָֽה׃te.nu.FahH8573.

16For they arewholly givenH5414unto me from amongמִתּ֖וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478;instead of such as openפִּטְרַ֨תpit.RatH6363every wombרֶ֜חֶםRe.chemH7358, even instead ofthe firstbornבְּכ֥וֹרbe.KhorH1060of all the childrenמִבְּנֵ֣יmi.be.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,have I takenלָקַ֥חְתִּיla.Kach.tiH3947them unto me.

17For all the firstbornבְּכוֹר֙be.khOrH1060of the childrenבִּבְנֵ֣יbiv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478are mine, bothmanבָּאָדָ֖םba.'a.DamH120and beastוּבַבְּהֵמָ֑הu.va.be.he.MahH929:on the dayבְּי֗וֹםbe.YomH3117that I smoteהַכֹּתִ֤יha.ko.TiH5221every firstbornבְּכוֹר֙be.khOrH1060in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714I sanctifiedהִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּיhik.Dash.tiH6942them for myself.

18And I have takenוָאֶקַּח֙va.'e.KachH3947the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881for all the firstbornבְּכ֖וֹרbe.KhorH1060of the childrenבִּבְנֵ֥יbiv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

19And I have givenוָאֶתְּנָ֨הva.'e.te.NahH5414the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֜םhal.vi.YimH3881asa giftנְתֻנִ֣ים׀ne.tu.NimH5414to Aaronלְאַהֲרֹ֣ןle.'a.ha.RonH175and to his sonsוּלְבָנָ֗יוu.le.va.NavH1121from amongמִתּוֹךְ֮mi.toKhH8432the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478,to doלַעֲבֹ֞דla.'a.VodH5647the serviceעֲבֹדַ֤ת'a.vo.DatH5656of the childrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478in the tabernacleבְּאֹ֣הֶלbe.'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,and to make an atonementוּלְכַפֵּ֖רu.le.kha.PerH3722for the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478:that there be no plagueנֶ֔גֶףNe.gefH5063among the childrenבִּבְנֵ֤יbiv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,when the childrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478come nighבְּגֶ֥שֶׁתbe.Ge.shetH5066unto the sanctuaryהַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ha.Ko.deshH6944.

20And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֧הmo.ShehH4872,and Aaronוְאַהֲרֹ֛ןve.'a.ha.RonH175,and all the congregationעֲדַ֥ת'a.DatH5712of the childrenבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,didוַיַּ֨עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213to the Levitesלַלְוִיִּ֑םlal.vi.YimH3881according unto all that the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֨הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872concerning the Levitesלַלְוִיִּ֔םlal.vi.YimH3881,so didעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478unto them.

21And the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֗םhal.vi.YimH3881were purifiedוַיִּֽתְחַטְּא֣וּvai.yit.cha.te.'UH2398,and they washedוַֽיְכַבְּסוּ֙vay.kha.be.SuH3526their clothesבִּגְדֵיהֶ֔םbig.dei.HemH899;and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֥ן'a.ha.RonH175offeredוַיָּ֨נֶףvai.Ya.nefH5130them asan offeringתְּנוּפָ֖הte.nu.FahH8573beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן'a.ha.RonH175made an atonementוַיְכַפֵּ֧רvay.kha.PerH3722for them to cleanseלְטַהֲרָֽם׃le.ta.ha.RamH2891them.

23And the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

24This is it that belongethunto the Levitesלַלְוִיִּ֑םlal.vi.YimH3881:from twentyוְעֶשְׂרִ֤יםve.'es.RimH6242and fiveחָמֵ֨שׁcha.MeshH2568yearsשָׁנָה֙sha.NahH8141oldמִבֶּן֩mi.BenH1121and upwardוָמַ֔עְלָהva.Ma'.lahH4605they shall go inיָבוֹא֙ya.Vo'H935to waitלִצְבֹ֣א צָבָ֔אlitz.Vo' tza.Va'H6635 H6633upon the serviceבַּעֲבֹדַ֖תba.'a.vo.DatH5656of the tabernacleאֹ֥הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵֽד׃mo.'EdH4150:

25And from the ageוּמִבֶּן֙u.mi.BenH1121of fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֣יםcha.mi.ShimH2572yearsשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141they shall ceaseיָשׁ֖וּבya.ShuvH7725waitingמִצְּבָ֣אmi.tze.Va'H6635upon the serviceהָעֲבֹדָ֑הha.'a.vo.DahH5656thereof,and shall serveיַעֲבֹ֖דya.'a.VodH5647no more:
